Question Zenith's or CIS?

I recently purchased a 75s motor for my 77s. I received a custom made air-box with all of the major components but I'm missing all of the hoses, vac lines, fuel lines, injectors and most of the hardware for the CIS system. I also received a set of Zenith's with rebuild kits, they appear to be complete.

Would the car or motor (2.7) have to be modified to work with Zenith's? I was thinking I could use the carbs while I collect parts for the CIS system if there is not any major mods. Which direction would the board go? Which system is more reliable or is one a better performer than the other? I am at 5000' and could occasionally drive much higher.

TIA

I like the Zeniths. Do you have emissions regs. to meet in Colo.?

The motor will not make a lot more power with carbs (until you change the pistons & cams) but will feel better -- a lot better.

OTOH, CIS will give much better mileage. If that is why you own a 911, then...

There are emissions regs in Colorado but not in the county I live in. I'm not as concerned about the fuel economy as I am about driving over our high mountain passes and having problems with carbs at that altitude.
