manifold boring question

How much can a 32mm carb manifold off a 2.0 be bored out? I have 38mm intake ports and will probably be running 44mm tb's. Will there be enough meat to bore them that far?
I tried searching but couldn't find what I needed.
Thanks

The inlet side is typically 40mm. 44mm is 2mm more all around which gets you close to the edge. You may want to fill in the relief areas close to the studs to provide more of a gasket sealing area.

Here's the cyl. head side to ported to 36mm. Another 2mm (+1mm all the way around) is doable at the opening, but the gasket width becomes narrower at the 3 and 9 o'clock positions.

I'd use a caliper to check the material thickness between the ends as you transition between the 44mm and 38mm openings.

Thanks Sherwood
I don't have the manifolds but I can get a set for $50 and am trying to find out if I should get them or wait for something better.
