Is this a sport seat?
It's from my '82 SC, and I think it's a standard seat. As I look into recovering kits, thought, some of the diagrams make me wonder if it might be a sport seat.
![]() Also, if anyone has recommendations for sources for leather or vinyl reupholstering kits...the only ones I have found from other posts to compare to the ones on Pelican are worlduph.com... Thanks in advance, Olivier

Olivier,
Sports seats have very large bolsters, those are std seats which you can find used in good condition for about 400-500 bucks for a pair, certainly cheaper than re-upholstering yours. Do a search in the 911 parts section there were a few sets for sale a few weeks back.

Looks like a standard seat to me. I would look into finding a good pair online, lots pop up on pelican, although you have to be quick, the blk leather ones go fast I 've seen good seats from $400-$600. Try craigslist also, that is where I have seen alot also. I was going to re-upolster mine but found it to be alot cheaper to buy a good set from someone else. Good luck.

Definitely a standard seat...
Also one of the lightest OEM seats made by Porsche

This would be a correct sport seat for an 82....note the lower seat cusion is seperate from the bolsters, and the depth of the bolsters.
