Well said! Galen, we are here for you and no one will think less of you for taking on any kind of project... well, if you put a Chevy in it there are some that wont talk to you anymore ;) Outside of that, the more rust you fix on a car the more your reputation builds ;) Frankly, that SC is not that bad compared to some of the early cars we have seen restored here. But, keep in mind that there may be more where you have not seen it.

oh, welding is really fun! the first thing I made was a birthday present for my dad. It was a steak brander in the shape of his initials. Totally had a blast making it. Welds looked like bird poop, but they held. There are some really professional welders here so pick their brains and all will be well.

"hear. hear" Now THAT'S more like it, and in essence, exactly what I did with my car (although I wasn't on the tools). For the record, my car is back in action for a couple of months now and I couldn't be happier!
