915 Part number request
 

Hi All

Just putting my gear box back together but... I can't find the part number for the "locknut" at the end of the input shaft.

This is the one for the pinion shaft. It's similar to this one but larger.

915-302-282-00-M260: Lock Nut for Transmission Pinion Shaft, 911 (1972-86)

I've looked in the parts diagrams but the number that keeps coming up is for a G50.

Part # 999.034.033.00 is the right one for the 915 mainshaft.

When I search for "91530228100" the search result states "Part Superseded to 99903403300"

I'm guessing the G50 part is suitable for the 915. I'll confirm that with the Pelican sales people when I place my order.

Very good! My favorite wholesaler still sells the nut under the 281 00 number, but it's the later style, micro-encapsulated version. I'll have to add that number to my resource book!
