Looking for an ash tray

All,

Anyone has a later style black ash tray for sale? Is there a difference in ashtray between the SC and Carrera?

I am looking for something similar to this.

I picked one up from Parts Heaven $25 I think.
Saved my original and hacked the other one up to mount the Traqmate, fits perfectly in the spot.
You can also keep an eye out on ebay, they show up there from time to time also.

There's defintiely a difference between the SC and Carrera ashtrays. My SC ashtray was missing when I bought the car.......the Carrera one will fit, but an extra mounting hole for a sheet metal screw has to be drilled. Even so, the front of the ashtray won't fit flush to the knee bar. Go to the classifieds and post a "wanted to buy." Alot of guys have gutted their interiors......just get one specific to an SC or a Carrera.

Yeah, but it's cool just as on TV....and it fits the picture of me driving a Porsche.
