How can you tell H4 vs H5 trim rings

I have a set of trim rings for headlights that are narrow but do not have the piece on the top that lets you hang in on the headlight bucket. It does have the screw hole on the bottom.

Which trim is which, can someone describe the differences?

sounds like a paintable trim ring that pops over a H1 or H4 rim. they are primered brass originally. no holes except at the bottom. H4 would have 2 diagonal holes for adjustment with exposed screws. H5 would have extra holes at 9 and 12 o'clock, no screws. H1 would have 4 exrta holes with exposed screws.
