I used them to replace my alternator and starter in my 944. Good price and no problems.

I used Foreign Alternator and Starter, also in Northridge. I paid about $85 for mine, and it's still going strong several years later. I've never heard of Eagle Electric (and I live in Northridge).

I probably should have mentioned...although I had no problems, it wasn't exactly a factory rebuild either.

Eagle Electric BURNT BY DO NOT USE Eagle Electric
Steve ( foriegn guy with heavy accent)
818-718-7907 shipped me an alternator that stopped working in 2 days for BMW x5 4.4 charged me 315 i had dealer verified bad alternator after i spend 200.00 to have it installed.. and 105.00 to tell me the alternator is bad Eagle Electric will not stand behind their products. So I my case i have to pay another 200 to get a second alternator installed. I offered Eagle Electric the opportunity to credit me but they refused...want to have ship me another so i can spend another 200 to install it again. Can't you file a dispute with eBay (or PayPal) and/or your credit card company?

Did you see any warranty terms and conditions when you bought it? Were their remedies limited to replacement? I guess if you paid the BMW Dealer to fix the system you would have some other recourse. Did you read this when you bought it? Quote:
