I just installed the RS kit in my SC. I still havent gotten the front kick panel area done. I'm not competley sure how it goes. The main thing is dont get in a hurry. fit the pieces in the car before you glue anything. Others may disagree but I'd suggest going light on the glue. I used 3M spray adhesive.
Overall I am pleased with the kit. Its a good choice.

Put it in my '83 SC about 10 months ago, wrong choice for me, I much prefer the original carpet quality, however it is much easier to install, just feels cheap and thin.

I also like the original carpet better. However, the perlon is a fraction of the cost and its suppose to be thin and light....we are looking for a weight reduction when we install it. I'm happy with it.

I just put the RS kit in my 82SC, it was the plush carpet though. it took me a total of 8 hours to get it all in. the front kick panels took some time, along with some of the rear side pieces. The more time you take on it, the better it will look. I also have the RS door panels. Everything i have seen from Appbiz has been good quality. Much better than paying the big bucks to get the factory pieces. i decided not to glue the floor pieces so i could take them out and give them a good cleaning if i needed to.
