Swepco 201 - not available in my area
Hello guys,
I have been looking to buy some transmission fluid Swepco 201 for my 1984 911 Carrera, without success. I live in a rural area, without a significant city with 200 miles. I live in New Brunswick, in Eastern Canada. There are no other Porsches in my area. I found a supplier in Montréal, but the minimum quantity would have lasted me 15 years. What would be your suggestions as to a transmission fluid, other than Swepco 201. I want to change my fluid as soon as I get the car out of storage, hopefully within 10 days. Thanks a lot. And thanks to all that contribute to this forum. I learn on it every evening. |
Our host sells one gallon bottles, shipped right to your door.

Can not ship oil to Canada
Hi,
I remember asking last year, and was told that oil can not be shipped to Canada ? .... Thanks anyway. |
Ah, the government "protecting" us from ourselves. The number one great lie: I am from the government and I am here to help you.
It is a good thing Canada is safe from shipped in oil :) |
Kendall GL5 80/90. From a very reliable source.

And you thought NAFTA worked both ways. No Canada has its own oil and does not want US oil products being exported into Canada(competition you know) |
In the 1980's Valvoline GL5 non synthetic was very good and thats what was in most racecars. You could buy it in 5 gal buckets if you need a bunch.
Seems like it would be good oil still. |
Hi I bet I am the closest pelicanite to you - just south of the Calais border crossing. I could get a gallon for you and you could come here and we could do the fluid change here. PM if interested
