Wanted Fuchs (ORGINAL)for 88 Porsche 911 Targa

Howdy folks..first time poster and I on the look out for a set of 4 orginal Fuchs that will fit my 1988 911 Carrera. The car is in Alabama so they will have to be mailed/shipped there. Do not need to be in excellent condition, but I prefer no curb wear solid and true rims.

Thanks

I think the original wheels for that car were 16x7 in the back, and 16x6 in the front. You should be able to get those for a relatively reasonable price. 16x8 and larger get expensive.

Have you checked the Pelican classifieds? I just did a quick search and there are several pairs for sale. Here's a link to the classifieds section: http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsche-911-used-parts-sale-wanted/

Good luck!

Welcome, off topic, but did you have this car for sale a while back, or are you the new buyer?
I remember seeing it posted. Good looking car!

Hey 8milereb

I own a 1988 3.2 Carrera, and still have the original 6X16" front and 7X16" rear authentic Fuchs from it. They are in fantastic condition, and have no curb rash. Straight and true with black Porsche crest centers. The wheels are black also. So you know the wheels are in good shape, my car only has 55,000 original miles, and is a Japanese RoW spec car. Japan= smooth roads. If you want the tires too, they are installed already, and have lots of tread left on them. I upgraded to turbo size Fuchs all around, and am happy with how it is now.
If interested, PM me, and I'll send you pictures.

Hi Racerbvd,

What size rubber are you running front and rear mate? Looks good, and wanting to replace the tyres on my '86 Carrera with 15' rims.

Cheers,
Kiwi Steve

Mine came with 205/60/15s & 215/60/15s,but 225/60/15s work great on the 8s.
