Smile Clown College 3.2 Pictures

Hello Porsche Folks,

I have promised some pictures of the 76 Targa. The Cocker Spaniels were tied
up, so there are no pictures of them. It was never going to be a Beauty, but just
a driver. Let me know what you think.

Regards p930man

Car looks nice, engine bay is clean, not crazy about those rims though.

I know.. get some Fuchs, I hear they were all the rage 20 years ago!

A clean looking '76 with a 3.2. I like it. +1 on the rims, though...Fuchs or even BBS would really dress her up, with a nicer set of tires.

What part of Texas is Belverde?

I have been looking for ****s for years, always too much. It came with some 14" wheels
that looked like ****s, but they could not have been correct for a 911. I pitched them, don't
tell me Porsche put 14" wheels on 911. My gun is loaded if that is the case.

Howdy fellow Texan! Regarding the wheels, You might check craigslist locally....I see wheels listed all the time. You might even get a few bucks for the "phone dials" as roller wheels.

Keep the photos coming.

Cheers

Looks good! Polish the fan and chip the overspray off the decklid latch and the engine compartment will look perfect.

What kind of plants are you growing in the garage?

A 76 with a 3.2 and an SC badge? Is this so you can join the SCWDP and the Carerra guy's little group also?

Sorry about the slip up on the Fuchs, that's what I get for letting my Cockers do the typing.
Bulverde is about 30 miles north of San Antonio. As far as the plants, they belong to my Wife.
I don't think you can smoke them. Notice the Beer Fridge, it's usually full. That's probably why
I had to drop the engine out four times. As far as the SC on the trunk, that's the way she came.
I'll check Craigs list, but I've been looking for years for good wheels with no luck. You Folks were
of great help with the multiple problems I had with the Beast.

Load your gun.

Some early 911's (1960's) had 14" Fuchs wheels.

They probably were Fuchs - maybe worth a few bucks to a 'correct wheels' restorer.

Enzo,

I just got her running good, many problems. Check out the Clown College stuff. I just put
in the Buick injectors and it made a huge difference. It does,t run as good as my old 930,
but it runs very very well. The 2.7 was pretty much worn out by the time I got her, so I can't
make a fair call on that one. I'll check out your thread. Regards p930man

If you don't want to spring for Fuchs, tape the lips of the cookies to keep them silver and then paint the centers a darker gray or black maybe. I think that would look pretty cool and would only cost you your time and a couple bucks for spray paint.

I have posted a wanted add on Craigs List for some Fuchs, I like the sudgestion of taping the
outside and painting the interior black. I have nothing to lose. I'm fighting the carpet now, it's
worse than a Rubics Cube. I also need to have her aligned because I put the 930 tie rods on her. I know the perspective on the pictures is poor, my fourteen year old boy took them. I'll post
some better pictures in the future with the Cockers . Thanks again for your input!

I think Chris was asking due to the spelling of your location... Belverde in your info, he spelt it Bulverde...

Car does look good, keep wheel shoppin...
