if you bled the system to the point that the reservoir itself emptied, you've got air in the system, and your pedal probably feels like warm oatmeal. (speaking from experience

Very solid.
![]() Just a bleed, or did you do something else? How did you do it? Pressure bleeder or Pedal-pump? And, by all means, don't tell us what year/type your Porsche is. ![]() Cheers. ![]()

it is a 78 911 sc
and I did with a vaccum bleeder twice on each caliper the only thing is that i have the feeling that the bleeder is also pulling some air coming from the loosened bleeding screw(from outside the caliper) the manual: 101 project for your porsche says you have to make it several time so. |

Drive it for a while. Do many hard stops. It will firm up. I have the same issue using the vaccume bleeder. don't know why.

Try this. Put some grease around the base of the bleed screws (di-electric grease works fine). That will block air from getting past the threads. Now if you see bubbles, they're from inside the caliper. Also, the "like a rock" analogy can be misleading. The pedal should feel extremely firm. But it will feel even firmer if you release it, and press it down again.
