tensioner question r/s oil line

installing tensioner upgrade on a 73.5 cis 2.4. i searched did not find a definitive answer. r/s oil line too short. do i replace the line or the block for the sending unit?

$600.00 kit should fit everything. does anyone have what i need to resolve this? ie (extra line from an old kit, adapter ,etc...)

For the carrera tensioners, you need to change the block that holds the sensor and the bolt that goes through the block to a newer one.

Take a look at this tensioner setup.

Carrera Chain Tensioners

You see the block that the sensor goes into in the picture.

I have a few of these. If you want, I can send you one for the price of shipping.

Thanks

Ed

the block also would need an adapter to fit the small threads on the early sender. the block has the large hole for the late sender.
