Front Bumper Deco Strip

Quick question guys....can i use a regular rubber deco strip i pull off a 1974 front bumper and used it on a 964 bumper....i am watching the deco strip on thoses cars with 964 bumpers and seeeing the deco strip that fits between the bumper and fenders/hood is much smaller...than the 1974 cars....?

If you are talking about the smile....the 964 smile is a different design than the earlier 911 style
