Rpm counter

I am the lucky owner of an 911/930 Turbo from 87.

My problem is that the rpm. counter goes from 0 to max rpm. when the motor is running idle.
It looks like it is posibel to provocate the counter, with electrical equipment in the car. for example the windows, lights, windshiels washer. etc.

what is the problem? please help me.

Looking forward to hear from somebody. Thanks in advance.

You're new like me... Why not post a pic of your 930?...

The Tacho has failed... Quickest fix is to buy a new one but that's not what you want hear hear when you've just bought a car.

Did you get a PPI?

Our host has brand new ones but you may be able to get yours tested and fixed locally. Hope it works out OK.
