Another 72T-Not Quite A Barn Find But sitting outside a foreign car shop in North Lawrence, Kansas. My wife spotted it as we were driving down the road. Looks to have been sitting there awhile so perhaps the owner might be interested in selling it. It was late so I only took a few pictures. Forgot to get the name of the shop, but it easy to find if someone is interested. I didn't get a chance to see what engine was in it. Original seats replaced with late model seats. Paint appears to be original. This would be a $6000 car needing $20,000 in work to be presentable. Hard to believe with the prices of '72's that there are some still sitting around outside. Not sure why it had a strap around it. Maybe they didn't have a key for the doors and didn't want people like me getting inside to snoop around. :D http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1239026223.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1239026247.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1239026269.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1239026284.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1239026295.jpg |

With that much rust around the rear window, you can bet water made it's way inside and worked it's way down to the floor pan and rockers. I agree with your $20K prediction. |

Interesting! That strap security is a first :) |

Looks like a nice candidate for a redo. Also, possible S optioned T. May have had original sport seats and someone else wanted them more than the car. If it runs and has original engine and MFI, 6 is too cheap. |
