I love it all. The insides, the outsides, the rumble strips, the apexes and yes the even the grass. I love the short breaking and the quick power on when the feel of the rubber takes on. I could care less about lap times and more about the sheer and euphoric experience of the track. The smells, the sounds, the spins and the near misses, it all comes together in a complete and unmeasurable sense of satisfaction. Even in the most diabolical weather in Chicago, all I can think about is hoping for the next fresh sent of overheated tires and rich exhaust.

the track scene seems to be all I think about lately. Car is having some work done this week and is on the dyno today....better than xmas.

And being with the the "like-minded" clan of troublemakers is no small part of the equation.

Thanks guys, just missing the track after a hiatus last summer. Unfortunately this is somewhat overshadowed by the fact I just joined the 8.5%.
