engine to oil tank line. Under or over tranny?

Hi, I have just reinstalled my engine in my '71 T and am installing the oil lines. The return line hose from the engine to oil tank runs better if I let it pass over the tranny. Does it matter whether this hose goes over or under the tranny? Is there a difference in pressure, since when the hose goes over the tranny, it needs to pump the oil up. Thanks for your help guys!! Pics will follow shortly!! | ||

Mine runs over the transmission, and there is a clamp near the vertical breather hose that helps hold it firm. (1970 S) Sounds like you have it right chuck
