tranny and engine mounts look suspicious...advice needed.

Hey guy, this doesn't seem right to me...have had some shifting issues and replaced my tranny mounts with sport mounts that my friend had, used original bolts...I didnot replace my engine mounts yet....i took some pics, does this look right:

motor mount, with engine jacked up (other side same)


Tranny mount i replace, with tranny jacked up (both look the same)


Tranny mount with tranny hanging normal, I see a gap at the top, is that normal?




in my mind seems like there shouldn't be such a gap, is that normal?

You are correct, they are not right. The cupped washers go on either side of the rubber mount (Top and Bottom) and the cupped side of the washers face towards each other.

Edit...the second post shows the situation better...That really does not look right. Can you read a part number off of them?

no, got under there and can't see a part number...i know they were supposed to be "sport mounts"....not stock, but not solid...any advice you guys have is appreciated!
