Tips to install new tail light lens..
 

I know, this is probably the easiest project, but I experience issues when instaling the new lens.

I have used a new seal and when I try to attach the screw where the lens wraps around the side of the car (pointy part of lens) I just can't get the screw in. It seems to short OR the seal is too thick. I don't want to break my new lens, but what's the secret....

I would bet that the new rubber is not as smashed in as the other, easiest fix, check it with a longer screw
