Body Electrical Question

Greeting Porschephiles

I've got a general question as to what to do with my nearly original 70 911T. Recently I've run into a number of wierd electrical situation with my turn signals ( I'm replacing my flasher switch and turn signal switch after all the honey dos) and my dash instruments.

Here's the basic question with my old components; if I actuate my turn signals or flashers a few of my instruments (fuel gage and oil pressure level) will oscillate in sink with the flasher clicks not a lot but enough to be noticed.

Before I rip out the old turn signal switch and replace it, is there anything else that I need to make sure is connected, cleaned etc.

Appreciate any suggestions

Dirty Marty

First step I would suggest is to clean all connections and especially the ground connections for the instruments/turn lights, as your symptoms appear to be a current "leak." Try the simple things first before digging into the turn signal switch, unless that was to be replaced anyway.
