Going rate for late 930 Fuchs or should I keep them?

What's the going rate for very nice set of fuchs from an 86 930? I don't think that my wife will let me keep them in the garage although I'd rather keep them. They are in exceptional shape except a very minor curb rash on one wheel. Ideas? Opinions?

Keep em, if you have a mans room or office, stack them up, 2 at a time, get a pieve of round glass & use them as end tables.

wives just don't need to know everything.

Yeah, you and your wife will be much happier is she doesn't know everything, especially relating to our cars.

2 things a wife should never do: Tell me anything about MY garage & give an opinion of what I should or should not do.

Sorry, but I run my household and I do not believe in equal rights for men and women. Old fashioned and will be that way until I die.

It doesn't work that way around here...plus we're in the process of building a house, so space in our present place is at a premium...I already have a couple of extra sets of winter wheels for my DD and her car so that would make twelve rims/tires...
I just bought a set of Ruf Speedlines that will be going on the car shortly so...is it worth selling them? Do they command anything worthwhile? I am thinking that the proceeds could be used towards buying Ruf fenders (at 5000 for the set  ) or a nice set of replicas/paint/fit. Anyhow...thanks for the opinions so far.

If they are 7 and 8 x 16's they should be worth at least $1,000 plus and if they are 7 and 9 x 16's they are worth at least $1,500 plus. This is just a ballpark estimate in case you do sell. Prices also depend on the economy and possibly the area you live in.

I was offered a set of 7 and 8 x 16's a few weeks ago for $1,000.

I hope that helps a little on your question.

A set that needs redone usually run @ 1200 and those that are nice seem to go @ 1800 if your talking about 7s and 9 x16s

If you don't want to sell, rent a small storage compartment till you move.

BeyGon 04-13-2009 11:50 AM

I could store them on my 89 Targa for you.

the car WILL feel different when you go from the light fuchs to the weigh a ton rufs, so hang onto them for a bit.
