Remove hazard switch, need blinkers to still work

So I pulled out my center console when I installed my Wevo shifter, but with the hazard switch out the blinkers don't work. Can't find my wiring schematics, does anyone know which wires I need to jump in the hazard plug so that the blinkers will work? '86 Carrera. Thanks.

HI, where you disconnected the hazard switch, you will need to bridge the terminals in the connector labeled 15 and 49. The numbering is usually very small and you will have to look real close to see it. It could even be on the switch.

Hope that helps.
Geoff.

Thanks Geoff- exactly what I needed. My factory workshop binders are in one of a thousand boxes in the basement and didn't know where to begin looking. But your info worked like a charm and I have blinkers again.

Thank you Saint914

I have been working on my 89 911 for a week now trying to figure out why flashers, indicators, and lights in general would not work.

So today I removed my hazard switch, cut up a safety pin for a temporary jump, voila!

You sir, truly are a saint!

thanks again

justin

Boy am I glad someone started this thread! I pulled my center console as well, as part of my backdate project. I had no idea yanking out the hazard switch would cause other things not to work. I don't have the battery back in the car yet so I'm not at the point of testing these things.

Do any of you possibly have a picture of where the jumper goes? Is it in the end of the electrical connector? Thx.
