964 heat exchangers fit a 88 3.2?
Quick question, will heat exchangers from a 964 ('90 C4) fit a 88 3.2? Thanks

The 964 will work on one side but on the other side the flanges need to be flipped to fit the bolt pattern and then rewelded. If you are looking for more flow you would need to use 993 heat exchangers as the inside tube diameter is slightly larger. Heat tubes need to be run differently but will work. Also I believe that the oil line needs to be backdated. Someone correct me if I am wrong.
The factory Carrera HE flows fairly well in stock form.

Why not backdate using SSI's?
I've never heard of anyone using 964 HE's. (but that doesn't really mean a lot...)
