cabriolet top boot snaps
just picked up a boot for my convertible top, I will need to install the snaps and Tenex fasteners.
I think maybe the PO may have jerry-rigged the top somewhat. Should the outside of the top consist of all Tenex fasteners, or a combination of Tenex and regular snaps? It's kinda important to me...I'd like to get this thing into as close-to-original condition as possible. Thanks for your input.

The only snaps on the outside are the two closest to the third brake light.

you cant open the engine lid if you use tenix studs on the two spots in the middle of the rear window

I think they changed these layouts over the years. I have an 87 and it has all Tenax except for the two closest to each side window. I can open my engine deck lid just fine.
