1968 Door Pocket Photos
I have been reading a few posts about the "one-year-only" special 1968 door pockets, but have never really seen a good photo of the pockets, how they were attached to the door cover, what hinges and latches were used, etc.
Does anyone have any photos that would show the pockets, the doors and even the details on how the door was designed/built and attached to the cover and the handles? Also heard that they used "Elephant-hide" vinyl in 1968 only for the door covers? Would appreciate your help.

Sven, not too sure how the pockets differ in those years. I have a '68 912 but am not aware of any differences from 912 to 911. My pockets (leather) are stapled onto the door covers. The arm rest has a knob at the front for door opening.
