Mirror switch wiring

Does anyone have a diagram of the wiring for the switch that controls both door mirrors? The PO gave me a box of mirror parts for my 74 and my manuals don't have any wiring diagrams. I've tried trial and error but there are sooo many combinations.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

A quick search for diagrams online only turned up a left side mirror. For L and R mirrors wiring is essentially the same - just doubled up to both sides off the mirror control switch and the bk/ye wire runs through a switch (under the oil guage) which switches power to either the L or R mirror motor.

This is a picture of the wiring connections for the mirror switch, my car only had the drivers side mirror though. Hope it helps.

That's the kind of thing I'm looking for. I hope it matches mine. Thanks for the pic.

I'm not sure of the model year for the switch diag in pic one

the Workshop Manual electric diagram and code is definately for my 1977. The wiring must have changed for some of the later years

Thanks to all. I was using an old style mirror diagram (the one with clutches) instead of the new style with two motors per mirror. I think I can fix it now.
