Porsche Model Sale

Good outfit, and really good selelction of Porsche models and having a 30% off sale. If it's Minichamps, Spark, or Ebbro it's generally a very nice 1/43 scale (4-5") model.

http://www.ewa1.com/cgi-bin/sshp/shop.cgi?searchtext=porsche&ud=AwYIDgMIDQAEBxQVCkREQ05dRFEUFV5EVx5TVVhGS1JJdgR CRkBEV0NKQBMTAQ0BDwIECAsGBhUR&c=search.htm

No association with them other than buying models there for years.

You're a very bad person for posting this... I'm just about to cook the numbers off my Mastercard.

+1. Only it's a Visa.

Maybe I can wait and get some family to buy some for my birthday...

I had to get this one, although it's not exactly a Porsche. One of the factory's big Benz busses was painted in Gulf Porsche livery, but this old girl was the main JWA transporter in both '70 and '71. Should look good in my Gulf display next to the '70 917K, '70 908/3, '71 917LH, and other Gulf-liveried cars like the '68 GT40, '74 Mirage-Ford, '97 Gulf Team Davidoff Mac GTR, and '01 Audi R8R. Thanks for the heads-up about this sale!!!

I believe we all make mistakes but I will not validate your poor choices and/or perversions and subsidize the results your actions.

Most of the Spark stuff is molded in resin rather than metal. They get much better detail like shut-lines and they have managed to find a way to apply their paint a bit thinner to bring out those details. Spark has also really gotten good at collecting data for their molds and I have found that their shapes are even more accurate than Minichamps in many cases. Spark has also been good about re-stocks and producing unusual stuff (like the JW-Gulf AEC transporter) for the sportscar crowd. Minichamps, Spark, IXO, AutoArt and Ebbro are doing fantastic quality right now with many great Porsches from the '60's, '70's, and '80s in the pipeline.

I agree and Spark is doing 1/87 and 1/24 scales.

Shouldn't this whole thread really have been in Off-Topic?

There are many more, but a bunch of toy cars really don't belong in the Technical Forum...
