How much horsepwer can you squeeze from a 3.2 SS with 46mm PMOs, twin plug, 10.5:1, aggressive cam profile?

I guess the question is how aggressive a cam profile you want to run, assuming 10.5 CR....

3.2 SS - what does the SS stand for?

Short stroke, which in this case means a 3.0 rod and 98mm pistons and cylinders.

Admittedly, I'm biased...but those early hot rods look so good in Gulf orange or tangerine.

Yes, I would agree. One of my favorite combos.

I echo the sentiments of other posters in that if this is not being done as a spot-on clone, then anything is possible. While I love the oranges, greens, blues, etc. of the era, I think a gray such as Audi's Aviator Gray would look damn good...a shined up primer look. If you were to add script, possibly shadow it in so it is still understated.

Signal orange as above or my favorite that baby blue gulf. Bob Jones did a 3.0 , kept the CIS increased the compression and some other trick bits and it ran as sweet as my 2.7 mfi . I could not tell it was CIS

I vote Viper Green, but of course I am biased. Mine was Malaga originally and I was really close on changing it but the green won me over.
