New owner, small problems?

I just picked up my 2001 911 Cab today. No manual... what is the PSM switch for? How long should the dash lights stay on after the key is removed? While driving, I hear a double chime but no warning lights, any ideas. I did the DRL hack today, could this be creating any problems?
Thanks in advance, this site is awesome.

You will probably not get much response for 996 on this thread or even on the 996 thread here on Pelican. Rennlist or Renntech are much more active with the water cooled cars.
The interior lights stay on in my 2003 for a long time if I leave the key in the ignition and about 15-20 seconds after I get out with the key in hand.
