Mirror Repair Repair
So I searched the forum because my driver side flag mirror was loose. I followed an excellent how-to and took everything apart. I only had one problem. One of the 3 clips that attaches the glass from the frame came loose (It didn't break.) I epoxied it back to the glass before reassembling. Unfortunately it didn't line up correctly. Now I can only get two of the clips on the back of the glass into the frame.
Is there a way for me to dissolve the epoxy so I can make it right? Obviously, I can't use any heat or the glass will break.

I'll give it a stab. Try cutting it out with a razor knife, scrap and cut until you have removed enough to start wiggling it loose. Good luck.

Glass takes a lot of heat. What it doesn't like is sudden temp changes. Go slow.
