71T Fuel Line - Does size really matter?
Or is it the motion in the ocean ... I am going through my newly purchase 71T that sat for 20+ years with fuel in the system. It has only 28K original miles, so cleaning out the varnished gas is the primary goal. Starting with the fuel system I took off the old fuel hoses and took them to Autozone for replacements. They only had SAE size hoses. I asked for metric and they didn't have any. I ended up with 3/8 and 5/16. As I am connecting them back up they are fitting easier and with hose clamps I believe I will be okay. But am wondering if I am headed down a wrong path that will I will pay for down the road. Thoughts?

did it that way myself. so far so good.
will be switching to AN fittings/braided hose front to back in some future year just for the comfort level.
