sportomatic oil pump drive pins

Hello! On the sporto trans there is an oil pump driven by 2 spring pins inserted into the end of the left camshaft. As I was preparing to put things together, I noticed the wearing faces of the drive pins are badly worn, and the corresponding faces on the rotating pin are also fairly worn. How do you remove the drive pins? In a pinch, can you use the heads of the 2 bolts that hold down the MFI belt sprocket to turn the rotating pin? Thanks
