Best repair manual for 1971 911?
Hi, Im looking for a repair manual for my 1971 911. The one I have isnt very detailed, I think it's Chiltons. The closest year Bentley has is 1969 with this manual http://www.bentleypublishers.com/porsche/911/1963-1975/Porsche-911-64-69-Workshop-Manual.html. Would that be good enough?
thanks

That looks ok. You can also get a Haynes or the Factory manual$.
Depending on what you want to dom Waynew's 101 projects can be handy as well.

My first 911 was a '70 911T Targa. I did a complete mechanical restoration including an engine rebuild with just the Haynes manual. Granted I am extremely gifted, but it is possible.

Your trans/clutch setup will be completely different.
But you can do searches here to get all the info on that. |
