I put a 2 in 1 out M&K on mine. It sounds really nice, but I'm still on the fence wether it is too loud or not. I would guess that it is close to the volume of a beefy motorcycle. Not quite obnoxious Harley loud, but pretty close to it. |
Wow !!! Speechless.....you're quite the man for what you've done to your "new" toy. Congrats and enjoy the "whirl"............

Nice well done! Now enjoy.

John, inspirational work here! You make it all sound so simple. Love your sense of humor during the ups and downs of the project. Great color as well. Enjoy my friend!!

What a transformation, congrats!

Nicely Done.

Great looking car and project. Can I ask you what you think you have invested in this?

It as been a while since I updated this thread. Did I really say that I was "done"? Well, after driving around with the CIS for a while, my head kept screaming MORE, MORE, MORE!
So, I picked up a set of PMO 46s. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1332870945.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1332870968.jpg Runs like a scalded cat now! Looks and sounds a lot nicer to boot! Ok, now I'm done...for this week anyway... |

Those carbs look so pretty on there it's almost a shame to cover them with filters...
Good work on your project. Despite the two years of refurb, I imagine you're pretty happy about it now. |

We need milk?...ok, I'll go get some from the next town over...bye! And frankly, the years of working on it were a ton of fun. I'm actually bummed out that I don't have a project to work on now! |
