Engine Sound :: DIfferency?
 

Hi folks,

I just got 06 997 S cp (tiptronic) and here is my question about the engine sound.

when I turn on the engine,
sometimes, the engine sounds really big and sometimes it sounds small.
I've pumped 5 times since I got the car.
4 times with premium and 1 time with regular.

Is the one time pumping with regular gonna affect/damage the car's engine/performance??

You might want to hop over to another forum for your 997 questions; as this is an air cooled 911 forum our engines always sound big...never small...

does it have that feature where you can change the exhaust sound from normal to sport..or whatever it is? maybe its being switched somehow
