Hood badge question

I got this hood badge with my 76 911. I was told it was on the car when he bought it. From the posts I have seen most say these were installed through 74-75 model years. Anyway is this an orange bar badge? It looks to me like it is. I am not in love with it and will probably sell it. Anybody know what the going price for one would be?
Thanks!

Yes, is the orange bar version. These are correct for '65-'73 cars.

I had a '74 Carrera with an orange bar crest, so they had some carry over. A really nice one is worth in the $300-$400 range. Might also try the Early S Registry, it won't last an hour if its priced right.

That's perfect deep patina.

I've never seen a good answer on when those badges ceased, or if they were mixed in until they ran out, or what. I did have a '75 that came with one, FWIW.

Really? Now I have to go and dig through the bowels of my tool box. I bet I have a few of those things in there. Whenever I replaced one of them I would just toss them in my tool box.

So what's the difference between that badge and the one on my '83? Is it that the "red" stripes are of a lighter color than mine?

That would be correct.

Anyone venture how much this one is worth? My dad bought it for his 914-6 back in the day, but never installed it. I've been dragging it around with me for 20 years.

Obviously not an original orange bar badge!
This is one I refinished for a 911 owner to his color specs.

Around $300.

Although at the peak of the Great Orange Bar Price Bubble (which roughly coincided with the housing bubble, BTW), a used orange bar badge sold for $1500 on eBay.
