Window frame mount mirrors - want pics
I’m looking to fabricate some mirrors for my whip and am intrigued by how Stuttgart Classica and Design 911 manage their window frame mounts.
I was hoping someone might have some detailed photos of how they do this. To be clear I’m not looking to copy their product but interested in how they achieve the mounting so I have a better understanding of the approach and it’s limitations. Thanks in advance!

Whip??? Hopefully your next post isn’t about fitting 22’s to your 911.

You need to have a hole in your quarter window,

Oh, I wasn’t referring to the singer-style mirrors that go through the quarter window but the ones that mount against the window frame like this, sorry for the confusion:

I understand they have a thin edge that slides under the rubber seal on two planes. Why not email them and ask for confirmation

Yeah, Stuttgart classica and design 911 appear to share the same design.
I guess I’m just curious as to the tenacity of the fit before I start fabricating something. I guess trial and error might be the name of the game. Frankly, if they weren’t $1000 I’d probably just buy them rather than fabricate something. Then again, winter needs projects!

I like 935 mirrors. I guess you could even glue them on. I looked online for a pic - I didn't realise how expensive they are
