Question WAVEY?? shoot- How (what glue or) do I use to affix my sunroof seals.

So I just received my sunroof seals for my 79SC. I get how they all go. except the rubber strip that goes on the sunroof.

I have had a string of bad luck with any products as far as attaching things lately.

For the felt, what product should I use to attach to the sunroof?
For the rubber strip, same product? or something else?

See pic, please let me know how does this thing go? I assumed I'd get a flat piece of rubber so now with the unexpected shape I'm confused.
I would guess that the end pointing down goes toward the front of the sunroof.??

(see pic) please advise

Gees I wish I would have found that thread before I did mine. Great reference. It is easy to glue the seal in too high. Ask me how I know. If you follow the provided thread and take your time (trial fit everything) it is an easy job.

Rob - sorry I was out all morning or I would have replied sooner - with the same thread referenced above! I used the 3M black "super weatherstrip and gasket adhesive", # 08008. Good stuff, and the black doesn't show as much against the weatherstrip or on a dark car.

Cool, I just got back from the store with the Super weatherstrip and some painters blue tape. I'm thinking the Adhesive can help me with a couple mesh pieces that have come out of my rear bumper. Should bond aluminum and fiberglas well too i'd think.

No problem. I have to do this myself and book marked it when I was doing a search on seal replacement.
I still need to do this.
Let us know how it turned out for you.
