Guess What it Sold For.

Take your guesses at what this car sold for at auction today. 1988 CE with 108,000 miles. Our favorite dismantler from Georgia purchased it at today's auction. No spoilers if you have access to auction prices. Will let everyone know later tonight what the final bid was.

Yikes. Did it come with severed body parts?

A wrecked CE even more rare than an operating one, right
Here's my guess - $1000

My guess is around $4000.
The engine and tranny are probably still okay and that is worth around $5-7K. It looks like it would have the much desired 3.2. The wing looks okay as well. That is worth a little bit.

I wouldn't touch that trans. The way that car is all mangled up, I bet the axle shafts put a hurtin' on the main housing. Engine case is probably beat up too.

My guess...$2K would kill it for me, as there needs to be a significant profit margin to offset the time of parting.

Good eye. That means the roof was crushed down originally...

Driver and passenger survived with relatively minor injuries considering the impact. These cars continue to impress me as how well they protect the occupants.

The front wheel hit a tree and was pushed into the passenger compartment. As far as I know there was not any significant impact to the rear suspension even though it looks like it. Could be wrong though...

Keep those guesses coming.

Using the Big Gripper to sever and open an A pillar doesn't mean the roof was flattened at all. Our FD frequently uses them just to give us EMS people better access to the occupants.

well considering alot of the rear including the engine and some wheels and a door and the carerra spoiler all seem to be good, also I assume interior has some good pieces and i think these go for around 19,000 in okay shape on the Bay? I'd guess the auction price was:

$4,775.50
