What is this THICK 12x24x5 washer for?

I ordered a few of these for my new motor mount excursion, and didn't find a use for them. My two (more knowledgable) helpers had never seen them either.

WHAT or, rather, WHEN, do you use these in a "motor mount" or trans mount application? I do know that I sure didn't take any OFF of the car when I took the motor out.

TIA!

edit: SORRY, IT'S 12X34X5 thick.

Insert a lockwasher on the engine bolt, then one of those, then pass the bolt through the mount.

I dont recall seeing them on standard mounts but WEVO mounts use them.

Those things hold everything together... get it wrong and the engine will fall right out of the car.

Ask me how I know....

Thanks, Troy.

Actually, these are NOT the saucer-shaped cuppy washers that go on each side of the motor mount, and on the bottom of the trans mount. These are SOMETHING ELSE, and that's what I'm trying to figure out.

These are flat, really thick and about half the O.D. of the cuppy, saucery washers that you so abruptly learned about.

Don't know if this helps, but looks like it's for "RS Motor Mounts" on 964 and 993 cars??

Click link and scroll down...
