930 Engine oil running temp?

Just changed the stock engine oil temp/press factory guage to numerical display.Reads 210+ running temp.Component supplier claims guage is accurate,this seems a little high to me considering I have installed an additional cooler in the large hose between the reservoir and the engine.Question is,what does a 3.3 930 typically run for oil temp and where is the sending unit located?
