Converting regular seats to sports seats
I just received my newly recovered leather seats and would like to report it is possible to have a high quality conversion to sport seats done to your regular seats. The seat frames have metal supports welded to them that are a reproduction of the factory used parts. Tony from Heritage Upholstery on the west coast did the work and I am thoroughly impressed. The high quality leather is almost a perfect match and the fit is excellent. He even put on the original black piping. Heres a few pictures. A before and two after shots from today.

The seat covers in all leather they made after I approved the sample leather for $1550 (2) the sport seat conversion was $320 (2) and the install of covers was $550.00 (2) (canadian $) plus shipping, taxes ect. I looked at various options and could not find the covers I wanted for less than $800.00 each any way. Not cheap but all things considered ,great value for the quality. My car 85 widebody cab no longer has that aged look inside. Im very happy with it.

Very nice Doug, love the black piping. I had Jason Culllen do a set for me, (not a sport seat convertion but recovering), before he went on the dark side. You're right it makes the interior look new. Congrats, they look awesome.
