Oil Pressure!
Car is a '75 911 S targa with the oil pressure (numerical) gauge in the instrument cluster. Engine is a 2.2 from an earlier car. I've got the basic "oil" level gauge hooked up, but want to also utilize my numerical gauge. Is it possible to retrofit the 2.2 engine with a sending unit so my numerical gauge is operative?
If so, where/how do I start? Thanks in advance gents and ladies! ![]() --- Tom '75 Targa ("stinky") |

Install the 2.7 sender and use the gauge.

OK, sounds easy but as a newbie, where does the 2.7 sender attach to the 2.2? That would be helpful, as from your post I'm assuming that the sender is interchangeable with what, the 2.2 oil pressure light sender? or the oil level sender?
