Looking to get leather seat repaired in CT
Hello all. First off, sorry if I am not posting this in the right place. I recently relocated to Fairfield county CT. I have an 89 911 Targa with 120k miles. I have a tear in the driver's seat that I would really like to have repaired plus maybe some work done on the leather on the shifter. Any advice on a good place for this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again.

I don't know of place in CT, but you may try covering the seats yourself. I had a hard time finding a good place and when I thought I had they turned out to be so so. I decided to take the project on myself and completed most of the work. I did not do the door handles. I sent those to a shop in California. I bought the leather from GAHH and it was very high quality.

Most of our cars have the shift boot stop about 1 inch below the shift knob. I just brought it up to the knob.
