Several possibilities: Could be a stuck distributor advance, defective decel valve, stuck throttle linkage, or a vacuum leak.

Your post says,"...my idle climbs high..." which I interpret to mean it is moving toward a higher rpm rather than being stuck at a high rpm and failing to move downward. If that is correct, then the most likely (though not most certain) problem is a vacuum leak somewhere in the CIS system--very common problem.

Give us as much background as possible including last tune up, last test of CIS system, when the symptoms began, and more help suggestions will come. Meanwhile, use the search feature and look up your symptoms. Many, many threads which cover the issue and there are nearly as many causes as there are threads posted.

Keep us updated.

thanks ossi blue sorry about the info was tuned up not more than a year ago and yes the idle climbs to higher rpm by itself so i will check for vaccum leaks to begin with.
