Sorry, I dont know what it should be on your 3.0.. do you have a repair manual? Should be easy to find with a search on here though.

Yeah no vacume advance/ret on my old 69.. this was done for emissions on later cars. So Id not worry about it and just set it at high rpm so you are getting full advance.

Ok on the 3.0 with webs.. I guess that means a no go for my 2.7. Which is fine because its running ok now.. especially now that I noticed I left the oil cap off last time I checked the oil and have been wondering why the idle is high! LOL..

Anyway.. looking forward to hearing how it runs.. Id be VERY careful to make sure those webs are adjusted properly and Id have it put on a 3 gas tester to make sure you arent lean or even rich somewhere.. Especially at full throttle. There is only one way to do this without a gas tester.. you can do rpm cuts and check your plugs.. this HAS to be done under load while driving.. the way it works is you run to a given RPM and cut the ignition.. then at the side of the road you pull your plugs and check each one to make sure its not lean...

good luck down under.
