carpet adhesive question

I've removed my carpeting, cleaned and prepped the car for new carpeting. I have a 3M product meant for automotive carpeting. The issue is possibly the weather.......they're calling for temperatures in the 60's and rain for the next few days. I'll be working in the garage, but do you think that the temp and humidity would possibly inhibit the adhesive? There's no mention on the 3M can regarding temperature and/or humidity issues. I have some time in the next few days to chip away at it, but if anybody has had an issue with humidity or 60's temps, I'm in no particular rush. Thanks.

Nope, you should be fine.

I use a Wurth product that's even better - Hi Temp Spray adhesive that's a bit thicker and works incredibly well when used on both surfaces, left to tack up and then adhere. It's brilliant for hood insulation pads as well, as it it good up to high temps.
2 cans will easily do an entire 911

If you use the 3M and let it set up on both sides then a quick smear (as per instructions you should be fine.)
If I may make one word of caution .. if you don't let it set up and push to hard in one spot the glue can cone through the carpet.
I did let it set and to push I used a rubber sandpaper block.
It has a rounded top and a flat area where the sandpaper would be ... I found it very useful.

I worked in sections and applied the glue to the surface then just touched the carpet to that surface, it left an inprint of glue exactly where it need to be on the carpet. I did also use a 1" brush that I cut down as a spreader.

Good luck the carpet really cleans up the interior.

The door pockets are "fun"
