Zenith Parts

Hi! I just got a 69 911T in October and im the process of rebuilding the Zenith 40 TIN carbs. I am in need of 3 of the spring clips that hold the atomisers on top of the venturis (911 100 928 00), 1 main vent holder (911 100 930 00) and 3 of the pins that go under the accelerator jets (911 100 941 00). Does anybody have any suggestions as to where I might be able to find these parts?

You could put a WTB (wanted to buy) ad in the classified section. Or, dare I say it, Motor Meister sells zenith parts. However, when I tried to buy parts from them, they wouldn't sell them unless they rebuilt the carbs for me.

Thanks for the advice. I have been on this forum only a few days and have figured out that you do not want to deal with MM. I tried to E-mail them and got no reply and have called and left messages to no avail. Sounds like they are not a very customer friendly business

What is the deal with MM? Their website seems pretty good but I have read a lot of bad things about that place

I had a pair of these carbs that I picked a very few parts off of. I'll sell you the set for $100 + shipping. This way, you can grab what you need and re-sell what's left later. I'm in Europe till Mid-June, so couldn't ship until I return. If interested, pm me and I'll try my best to describe their their condition from memory while on the road.....G'luck....

Do a search on MM. Anyone can make a "good looking" website. Educate yourself by using the same technology (da web) to do a bit of a background check. Admittedly, I'm not speaking from experience, only from reading these forum for the past year. A search should turn up plenty of stuff from those who have had "experience".
